We continue to search for new owners to carry on creating a welcoming space for the community. However, we will officially be retiring at the end of April 2024 and if new owners are not found prior to that, the restaurant will close. Our website will close down mid-March, but we will remain open through April. Again, we cannot thank you enough for being part of our life's journey and your loving concern for Colleen, Heather, and I. We will remain in the area during retirement, so we are hopeful to still see many of you around town.
Welcome!
Dear Valued Customers,
My wife and I wanted to take a moment to share some bittersweet news with you. After almost 30 years of fond memories, bringing you delicious food, and heartwarming conversations, we have decided to put our restaurant up for sale as we embark on a new chapter of our lives - retirement.
This decision did not come lightly, as our restaurant has been a labor of love and a true passion project for us. We have cherished every smile, every full table, and every conversation shared within these walls. It has been an incredible journey filled with joy, challenges, and connections - that we will cherish forever.
As we reflect on these cherished memories, we also find ourselves looking forward to the next phase of our lives. Retirement will allow us to take a well-deserved break and though our roles may change, the memories and relationships forged here, at Rabaut’s Café, will forever remain in our hearts.
During this transition, our commitment to you, our valued customers, remains steady. Our restaurant will continue to operate as usual, with the same attention to quality, warmth, and hospitality that you have come to expect from us. We are dedicated to ensuring a seamless handover to new owners who share our passion for creating a welcoming space for the community.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to every one of you for your love and support, your laughter, your prayers, and your presence throughout the years. You have made this restaurant more than just a business; you have made it a home away from home.
Let us savor this remaining time together as we prepare to pass the torch to new caretakers of this special place.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our journey!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Chris and Colleen
